General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation came into effect on 25 May 2018. It’s purpose is to protect the rights and privacy of individuals and to ensure that personal data is not processed or used without their knowledge and consent.

The Northern Ireland Bowling Association and their member Clubs will adhere to the requirements of the Regulation. To that end, a set of template GDPR documents have been produced to assist NIBA Clubs in managing the data they may hold.

These Club template documents are now available for download from our website under menu option, Online Documents> Download a Document. Please feel free to amend these documents to suit your individual Club requirements.

Those Club Secretaries with an email address should have already received these documents. Those Club Secretaries who receive correspondence by post, please contact Hon. Gen. Secretary to make alternative arrangements.
