Dromore – Junior (16 player) Challenge Cup Winners 2024

Rathfriland and Dromore provided quite an exciting and tense affair on the top green at Grove Park last night, with the title very much in the balance throughout the match. Dromore made the better start 11 up after 5, with Rathfriland guys pegging back to lead at 10 ends by just 2, tentatively holding on by only a single shot after 15 before Dromore applied the pressure over the closing ends to lift the Junior 16 Cup by 65 to 61.

Great match played in the true spirit of bowls. Commiserations to Rathfriland.
