William (Billy) Moreland

It is with great sadness that we record the passing of our Honorary Member, William (Billy) Moreland.

Billy will be remembered for his unselfish and dedicated service to our Association, holding the position of President in 1974 and 19 years as Honorary League Secretary (1992-2011). He was IBA President in 1982 and an Honorary Member of that Association.

Formally, a member 21st Old Boys’ and later 58th Old Boys’ Bowling Club in Belfast, Billy will be greatly missed by his many friends in the bowling fraternity.

The NIBA membership wish to extend their sincere and deepest sympathies to his family circle.
