NIBA CHAMPIONSHIPS FINALS

Ryan McKeown from Whitehead takes the blue ribbon Singles title after a titanic battle and majestic performance against Bangor’s Alan Stewart 21-15. Both players produced superb bowls throughout on a dead draw weight forehand and a swinging backhand rink, a testimony to their individual skill and talents, delighting their supporters at a sunny afternoon at Ward Park, Bangor.  

Huge congratulations to all our winners and wishing them every success as they represent NIBA at the Irish National Finals at Donaghadee BC on Friday 4th & Saturday 5th September. What a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved after some outstanding games throughout the Finals.

Well done everyone, and thank you for making the NIBA Championships Finals 2026 such a fantastic event.
