Championships Finals Report 2024
What a brilliant day for our Championships Finals with sunny weather galore in the beautiful Ward Park Bangor yesterday. Many excellent games of bowls played through the Semis, and carried forward into the Finals with some nail biting finishes in front of a great crowd of supporters watching on.
Congratulations to Kyle Blakely from Banbridge club, our Singles Champion for 2024. Best wishes in the forthcoming Irish National’s.
Many thanks to Nigel Moffett our Competitions Secretary for all his hard work throughout the year and especially this weekend, and everyone working in the background who made these championships such a success.
A massive thank you to our sponsor Michael Wallace of Stairlift Solutions NI who was suitably impressed by the skills on display, especially while watching the Open Singles blue ribbon game.
Finally, massive congratulations to all our winners and best of luck in the IBA Championship Finals on 30th – 31st August at Castle Bowling Club as our very own Henry McFarland is IBA President this year.
Please come down and support our players once again.
