Holywood 75th Anniversary

President Thomas Hanna presented Holywood’s President David McIlhagger with a commemorative plaque to acknowledge their 75th Anniversary as members of the NIBA last evening.

Holywood invited local clubs, 1st Ballymacarrett, B.E.T.S., Castle, CI-Knock, Gilnahirk, & North Down to a 2 group round robin Tournament which included a rink from Holywood in each. Group winners Gilnahirk & North Down then contested a thrilling final, watched by many enthralled spectators, with Gilnahirk emerging as worthy winners.

Afterwards, an excellent supper was provided by the Ladies of the Holywood club which was greatly appreciated by all.
