Intermediate Cup success for Gilnahirk

In a very hotly contested game, on a very hot evening at Grove Park, Gilnahirk secured the Intermediate Cup over a very worthy adversary Holywood. After 18 ends the scores were  65 apiece and with Gilnahirk having a slight 2 shot advantage, with all 4 rinks playing their last end at the same time, they scored 9 shots to 1 to secure the win, 80 – 70. Congratulations to winners Gilnahirk and indeed, congratulations to Holywood also for a game well contested.
